Rexel USA seeks an Industrial Automation Specialist - Smart Components to drive growth and deliver pre- and post-sales support for automation products in Holyoke, MA. You will engage customers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with Inside Sales to optimize quoting and order processing.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, field experience, and the ability to train customers and staff. Travel to customer sites and regional offices may be required, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Electrical distribution industry or related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Bachelor's degree - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer.
• Develop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growth.
• Develop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plans.
• Prepare periodic sales funnel, weekly sales reports, etc.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visit, phone, and email.
• Establish relationships with sales and customers to better understand sales potential.
• Ascertain customer needs by customer visits, phone, and other means of research.
• Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activities.
• Provide expert knowledge to Inside Sales to facilitate quoting, order entry, and order expediting.
• Create and present technical and commercial training for internal and external customers.
• Describe or demonstrate product to customers.
• Follow up on all business leads assigned by management, marketing, technical department, or supplier partners.
