Job summary

KNAPP North America seeks a Site Maintenance Manager to oversee on-site maintenance programs for automated storage and retrieval systems at our customer locations. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and build strong customer relations.

Reporting to the Resident Business Manager, you will manage budgets, drive service excellence, and foster a safety-first culture across daily operations and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Passport or ability to obtain passport
• Work on weekends and/or overtime as required
• Professional office etiquette is required at all times
• Occasional travel required
• Physical requirements may include: sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching overhead, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to Resident Site team.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Lead on-site supervision and leadership for maintenance teams.
• Oversee interviewing, hiring, and training of site personnel.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Ensure safety and quality across maintenance activities.
• Manage budgets and SLA delivery; supervise system improvements and installations.
