Job summary

KNAPP Inc. seeks an on-site operations leader to serve as the customer-facing voice, coordinating between the customer, site team, and the Director RBS Operations.

You will lead maintenance programs for automated storage and retrieval systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance across multiple customer sites. You will develop budgets, drive continuous improvement, and nurture strong customer relationships, while guiding a lean leadership team to deliver high performance and value.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer-facing voice for KNAPP Inc. and manage all communication between the Customer, your on-site team, and the Director RBS Operations.
• Attend production meetings and ensure communications engage the Customer and site team, showcasing the value KNAPP brings.
• Develop and manage a budget with the Director RBS Operations and oversee spending with the Customer as needed.
• Oversee on-site maintenance programs, processes, people, and documentation for automated storage and retrieval and related storage/picking systems.
• Build and maintain customer relationships at the Customer site(s) and lead preventive/predictive maintenance programs following SOPs and safety policies.
• Ensure escalation procedures are followed and issues are raised per agreed-upon protocols via the leadership team.
• Provide strategic leadership to the Resident Site Engineering Manager and team, guiding performance and staff development.
