Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Reliability/maintenance professional to help define standards, lead root cause analyses, and drive improvements for highly automated machinery. You will collaborate with on-site teams and customers, ensuring reliable operation and clear documentation while adhering to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with PLC-based systems and robotics.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability concepts.
Project management experience.
Understanding of machinery systems including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic.
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German preferred but not required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Hands-on and team-oriented with focus on process improvements.
Experience with PLC-based machinery, highly automated and robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

Define and verify standards for configuration, monitoring, reliability and performance.
Lead RCA projects and influence project initiatives.
Reduce MTBF/MTTR through improved outlier detection and analysis.
Drive operational best practices and lower barriers to reliability.
Build strong relationships with customers and on-site teams.
Communicate clearly with on-site management and stakeholders.
Ensure accurate, legible time sheets and documentation.
Adhere to site safety procedures and participate in meetings on progress.
