Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Reliability Technician in Lancaster, TX to define standards for configuration and reliability, lead RCA projects, and drive improvements in MTBF/MTTR. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, reading drawings, and effective communication with customers and on-site teams.

The position involves on-site responsibilities, safety compliance, and regular reporting. A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of reliability concepts and machinery systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/German) but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and verify standards for configuration, monitoring, reliability and performance.
• Lead RCA projects and influence initiatives.
• Reduce MTBF and MTTR through improved outlier detection and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer and on-site personnel.
• Ensure timely, well-written reports and adherence to safety procedures.
• Participate in meetings with Maintenance teams to track progress.
