Job summary

KNAPP, a global leader in warehouse automation, seeks an experienced Reliability & Maintenance professional in Stockton, CA. You will define standards, lead RCA initiatives, and push for lower MTBF/MTTR through advanced data analysis and root cause reviews.

You will collaborate with on-site management and customer teams, ensuring safety, reporting quality, and continuous improvement across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability concepts.
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of machinery systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German preferred but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with PLC-based machinery, highly automated and robotic equipment and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and verify standards for configuration, monitoring, reliability and performance.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) projects and influence project initiatives.
• Continually drive down MTBF and MTTR through improved outlier detection and root cause analysis.
• Drive operational best practice adoption across critical services, reducing barriers to reliability.
• Create strong relationships with customers and their agents to provide superior service.
• Interact with on-site management and address concerns professionally.
• Ensure reports are well written and legible.
• Execute site safety procedures and any statutory procedures.
• Attend meetings with Maintenance Supervisor or Site Manager to discuss activities and progress.
