Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions team in a large distribution facility in New Jersey. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document work, and collaborate with the Client and Operations Maintenance teams. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience are required; CMMS experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience or training.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair MHE and robotic systems.
• Repair electrical and mechanical issues on MHE (belts, motors, sensors).
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations teams; perform other duties as needed.
