Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead in the Greater Milwaukee area. The role covers real-time diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with focus on Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, VFDs, and robotics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on maintenance of high-speed production machinery or heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience diagnosing PLC/automation faults and performing I/O monitoring in PLC environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Proven tenure and reliability with good attendance and safety mindset.
• Local commute within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
• United States citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automated production lines via real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics.
• Trace PLC logic and controls on Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs and clear stoppages.
• Interpret schematics and drawings to perform emergency repairs and maintenance sequences.
• Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatic valves, cylinders, and distribution lines.
• Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, including VFDs and sensors.
• Perform light fabrication such as welding to adapt or repair equipment components.
