Job summary
Essenti Talent is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead for a high-autonomy role near Milwaukee, WI. The position focuses on real-time diagnostics, PLC fault-tracing with AB or Siemens systems, and hands-on maintenance of automation lines, robotics, and VFDs.
A strong emphasis on reliability and on-time availability is essential. You will own complex maintenance tasks across multiple shifts, participate in profit sharing and bonuses, and benefit from a strong, non-micromanaged shop floor
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance on high-speed production equipment.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC fault tracing.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- U.S. work authorization with commutable distance to Greater Milwaukee, WI.
- Willingness to work the 1st/2nd/3rd shifts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose automated production lines to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Interface with AB or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
- Trace schematics and drawings for repairs and maintenance sequences.
- Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatics and valves.
- Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V, VFDs.
- Perform light fabrication and welding for equipment modifications.
