Stantec seeks an Automation / Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join its Energy and Resources team. The role includes leading I&C design efforts, developing specifications, and coordinating with clients and vendors across North America.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary design team on mining, power, oil & gas, and renewable energy projects, with travel ~10% and a Professional Engineering license or eligibility preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• PE license or eligibility for licensure.
• 5–10 years of engineering, design and construction experience in heavy industry, mining, oil & gas, or power generation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary design efforts from proposals through startup and commissioning.
• Develop I&C drawings, instrument specifications and datasheets; support procurement.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality and schedule.
