Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Automation / Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for our Energy and Resources team to grow skills in consulting-based automation and control system design.
You will work with a multidisciplinary design team supporting North American projects across mining, power, oil & gas, and renewables. You will lead instrumentation and controls deliverables, including I/O diagrams, wiring diagrams, control panels, and vendor integration, while coordinating
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Responsibilities
- Engineering support for multidisciplinary projects from proposals through design and start-up.
- Site work and field support including investigations and commissioning.
- Lead design for instrumentation deliverables and specifications.
- Design PLC/DCS/HMI architectures and integrate with vendor equipment.
- Prepare technical specs for communication networks and industrial backbones.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors and contractors.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews and quality control.
