Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer, seeks field technicians to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, perform installations and repairs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

A take-home service van, tools, and ongoing training support your growth. You will travel daily to customer sites, perform scheduled maintenance, manage parts inventory, and uphold safety standards to protect technicians and customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of related maintenance/repair/installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics; read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, install and repair equipment.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide superior customer service.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment for contracted customers.
• Keep track of parts and supplies in the service van.
• Maintain the service van and ensure tools and safety gear are stocked.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at customer sites and support operations.
