Job summary

Carolina Handling LLC is seeking Field Technicians to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites across the region. You will diagnose electro‑mechanical issues, perform installations, and maintain excellent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.

You’ll operate a company‑provided service van, manage maintenance tasks, and participate in training to stay current with equipment and safety standards. A valid driver's license and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance, repair, or installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics; ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems and perform installations and repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and recommend actions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver superior customer service.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers per policy.
• Keep track of parts and supplies in the service van.
