Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems, perform installations, and complete scheduled maintenance while maintaining a professional, safety‑minded presence with customers.

The role requires reading schematics and manuals, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred. Daily travel to customer sites is expected in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related field experience preferred (maintenance, repair, or installation).
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics; ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical problems, install and repair equipment as needed.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold safety standards on customer sites.
• Perform repairs promptly and efficiently; address maintenance checks as required.
• Manage parts and supplies in the service van and ensure tool readiness.
• Ensure the service van is properly maintained and stocked.
• Adhere to customer safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform other duties to support operations as needed.
