Job summary

CTDI is seeking an associate engineer to support senior engineers on major projects. The role involves installing automation equipment, interpreting drawings, and helping redesigns while traveling about 80% of the time.

You will contribute to documenting progress, safety briefings, and maintaining test routines in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has an AS/AA in electronics technology and 4 years of troubleshooting experience, with strong knowledge of electronics theory

Qualifications

• This role requires a practical electronics background with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Candidates should be capable of reading drawings and interpreting specifications.
• Proven ability to work independently while supporting senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers on major projects and learning through hands-on tasks.
• Install automation equipment and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Propose redesigns and characterize new product performance.
• Analyze requirements and effort for automation systems and products.
• Produce as-builts, daily reports, and safety briefings.
• Attend status meetings and help prioritize timelines.
• Train technicians on repair and testing processes.
