Job summary

CTDI in West Chester, PA seeks an associate engineer to support senior engineers on major projects, applying electronics theory and telecom knowledge to solve problems and implement process flows for new product introductions.

You will install automation equipment, read drawings, propose redesigns, document progress, and train technicians, with a travel-heavy schedule and a supportive, family-like culture offering health, vision, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• AS or AA in electronics technology with 4 years of practical experience in electronic troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80%.

Responsibilities

• Install automation equipment at CTDI branches.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Suggest redesigns and characterize new product performance.
• Analyze requirements and effort for automation systems.
• Create documentation such as as-builts, daily reports, and safety briefings.
• Attend status meetings to review priorities and progress.
• Train technicians on repair and testing processes.
