Job summary

Hy-Tek is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to maximize customer satisfaction by performing field service operations, remote troubleshooting, and on-site support for mechanical, electrical and programming issues across AMR, G2P, and P2G systems.

This role also involves developing and innovating in the lab when not onsite, performing planned maintenance, and collaborating with the development team on testing and R&D for new automation solutions. Travel up to 50% and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience with automation required or preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to solve problems and coordinate
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals for mechanical/electrical/programming data.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolution for innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G, etc).
• Provide mechanical, electrical and/or programming troubleshooting.
• Perform planned maintenance procedures as scheduled.
• Provide a small scope mechanical installation depending upon the application.
• Participate in installation supervision, system controls and/or system programming procedures.
• Be aware of and practice all safety rules on site.
• Be a part of the development team testing and R&D for innovative solutions.
