Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New Jersey seeks an Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability in fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, optimize MHE and support cross-functional teams with SCADA, Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Profibus networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years PLC programming/automation experience.
Experience with ladder logic and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

You will serve as the site expert for maintaining the automation systems that are critical for operations.
You will understand, maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems and networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
You will monitor MHE metrics and address performance issues with maintenance/operations.
You will provide first-level escalation support for site technicians, locally and remotely.
You will perform and analyze building system assessments to enhance material handling system performance.
