Qualifications

Requires BSEE from an accredited four-year college or university.
Two+ years of experience in controls design, panel construction, and PLC programming in high-volume assembly.
Knowledge of robotics, motion control, vision, sensors, and variable frequency drives.
Knowledge of machine safety and wiring standards, including relevant code requirements.
Experience with network architecture and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide controls and electrical engineering design and programming for custom assembly applications.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment with maintenance and engineering teams.
Ensure machine safety by interpreting codes and updating specifications.
Develop and maintain hardware, software, and control drawings for maintenance staff.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams on assembly solutions and testing.
Support automation technology such as robotics and vision systems.
Prepare data for project updates and capital expenditure requests.
