Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing, Inc is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and integrate new automation equipment and process control systems at our Wooster, OH facility. You will lead projects from concept through CAD design, PLC programming, installation, commissioning, and system integration.

You will support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime, efficiency, quality, and safety, while providing troubleshooting expertise across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems and automation.
  • Experience with robotics, machine vision, and CAD design.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical prints, PLC logic, and electrical panels.
  • Support and troubleshoot motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related systems.
  • Program and commission automation equipment and robotic systems (Fanuc preferred).
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production to launch new equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement to increase uptime and process efficiency.
