Job summary

Invio Automation, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a team delivering industry-leading automation solutions.

You will contribute to design reviews, develop control system packages, and support integration from R&D through startup, with exposure to AMRs, AGVs, and turnkey assemblies. The role requires a strong background in automated controls, robotics, vision systems, and PLC/HMI programming, plus willingness to travel domestically or abroad.

Qualifications

• Experience in automated controls systems.
• Experience with Robotic Controls and programming platforms.
• Experience with Industrial Vision Systems.
• PLC/HMI programming experience with an emphasis on Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens.
• Proficiency using 2D AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN to generate control system packages.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL508a, CE, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews at all levels—proposal, standards, project.
• Analyze customer requirements and assist in proposal development.
• Manage technical solutions to minimize costs while maintaining reliability.
• Coordinate with other departments to satisfy project requirements.
• Perform detailed system design, implementation and test.
• Support startup, commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Travel within the US or internationally as needed.
