Ford is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer in Louisville to support our smart manufacturing initiatives. You will help coordinate resources, program automation installations, and ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical systems across our plants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls or Automation Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources to identify root causes and validate fixes.
• Handle setup and maintenance of industrial barcode printers.
• Program automation installations of machinery and robots.
• Read and modify electrical prints and AutoCAD schematics.
• Review cycle times with FIS plant monitoring software.
• Assist in training manufacturing personnel and plant electricians.
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
