CareerNerds, LLC in Wyoming, MI is seeking a Controls Engineer II to own the full engineering lifecycle of custom automation projects, from concept through on-site commissioning. You will design electrical architectures, program PLCs, integrate robotics, and ensure safety and standards compliance on multi-disciplinary teams.
The role requires Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley experience, AutoCAD Electrical, and travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in electrical/automation engineering.
- 5+ years designing, building, and programming industrial automation systems.
- Experience with NEC/NFPA 79/RIA TR R15.06 and Rockwell platforms is required.
- AutoCAD Electrical proficiency; familiarity with major robot brands is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

- Lead full lifecycle engineering for custom automation projects.
