GAF seeks a Director of Automation and Control Systems to lead the Automation & Controls team, partnering with engineering to drive continuous innovation and manufacturing optimization. This role shapes capital plans and ensures operational support for production facilities.

With 10+ years in manufacturing and strong leadership, you will integrate IT, R&D, and process services, maintain machine standards, manage budgets, and advance safety and reliability across sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading Automation & Controls projects across multiple locations.
• Proven leadership of teams, directly or indirectly.
• Strong relationship-building and partnerships.
• Working knowledge of CAD, HMI development, PLCs, G-Suite and diagnostic tools.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all functions of Automation and Controls group.
• Contribute to 3- and 5-year capital plans for facilities.
• Collaborate with IT, Process Services, and other groups to integrate automation.
• Manage financials: capital projects and budgets for the team.
• Guide software implementation with operations systems team.
• Ensure documentation and controls standards are maintained; drive process improvements.
• Provide leadership and promote a customer-service culture; foster safety and education.
