GAF is seeking a Director of Automation and Control Systems to oversee the Automation & Controls team and collaborate with engineering to drive continuous innovation and manufacturing optimization. You will influence capital planning and ensure strong cross-functional alignment, while delivering ongoing production support across facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
10+ years manufacturing experience required.
Experience leading Automation & Controls projects across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all functions of Automation & Controls group.
Contribute to 3–5 year capital plans for facilities.
Collaborate with IT, Process Services, Corporate Engineering, and R&D to integrate Automation & Controls.
Manage capitalized projects, budget development and financial reporting.
Guide software selection and implementation for Automation and Controls teams.
Ensure documentation and machine standards are maintained.
