The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy components. AAADM certification must be obtained within 12 months, with on-call rotations and safe work practices emphasized.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring is required.
• Ability to lift and handle components up to 110 pounds and operate power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated doors at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electro-mechanical door systems and wiring.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and related components.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, end-users, and contractors; participate in on-call rotations after certification.
• Follow safety practices and lifting requirements; operate ladders and tools as needed.
