ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is hiring a Service Technician in Jacksonville, FL. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors, performing maintenance at customer locations while ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, electrical and low-voltage knowledge, and the ability to lift and use power tools. AAADM certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, and aluminum frames (preferred).
• Ability to lift and use power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors.
• Diagnose electrical/electro-mechanical issues and troubleshoot relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
