Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems seeks a Service Technician in Jacksonville, FL to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and ensure top-tier customer service across diverse sites.

Requirements include mechanical aptitude, 21+ age, AAADM certification within 12 months, basic electrical knowledge, valid driver's license, and willingness to lift heavy components. On-call rotations apply after training.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to job responsibilities.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, delivering excellent service.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting/installing door components up to 110 pounds as needed.
