Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will ensure high customer satisfaction while performing maintenance, break-fix, and upgrades on sliding, swinging, and rotating doors.

You must have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift and use power tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability to diagnose electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and low-voltage wiring.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and trimming wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Lift and install door components up to 110 pounds with equipment as needed.
