Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites.

You will handle electro-mechanical systems, low-voltage wiring, and door hardware while delivering exceptional service. The role includes on-call rotations and a path to senior technician levels, with comprehensive training and safety as a core value.

Qualifications

• Repair electro-mechanical devices and systems.
• Knowledge of low-voltage (120V) wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
