Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer locations. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, ensuring safety and high customer satisfaction.

You must have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work with glazing and aluminum hardware. A valid driver’s license and AAADM certification within one year are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames and hardware preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and AAADM certification.
