ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems invites applications for a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring top‑quality customer satisfaction and safety.

The role emphasizes hands‑on maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, and compliance with AAADM certification. A company vehicle, benefits, and on‑call rotations support this position.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V); access control systems a plus.
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
