Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office. This hands-on role ensures fast, friendly, and high-quality automotive service while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run location.

You will coach technicians and service advisors, assist with scheduling, onboarding of new team members, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment in a service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; proficient with POS and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell based on manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies.
• Monitor inventory and help track daily sales and KPIs.
