Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California in Rialto, CA is hiring for a Sales/Service Desk Associate to engage customers, offer parts and service knowledge, schedule appointments, and process transactions at the service desk, sales floor, and register.

You will be the first point of contact, build trust, understand customer needs, and uphold company customer care standards while contributing to store operations, safety, and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic math skills for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store; engage customers, schedule appointments, upsell parts and service.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders and register transactions; knowledge of vehicles and parts.
• Assist in various customer care tasks, work orders, register assistance, and store maintenance.
• Follow policies regarding cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns; address customer service issues.
