Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California is seeking a Service Desk Associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services. You will manage work orders and register transactions, perform express automotive services, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of automotive service experience, with sales experience preferred. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, build trust, and sell parts and services.
• Organize and manage service work orders and register transactions.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns.
• Perform express automotive services and basic inspections.
• Support safety procedures and communicate with management.
• Open/close responsibilities where applicable.
