Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an experienced Auto Service Manager to lead vehicle technicians, manage customer relationships, and supervise service staff. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and parts purchasing; maintain quality standards and drive customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes team leadership, inventory control, and hands-on automotive repair knowledge. A high school diploma is required, with 1 year as service manager or writer and 4 years auto service

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years auto service technical experience.
• 1 year service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license to test drive customer vehicles.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians according to store requirements.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Teammate and customer/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by managing customer interactions and follow-up.
• Develop understanding of business operations in the automotive service environment to enhance efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
