Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a skilled Auto Service Manager to lead technicians, coach staff, and drive exceptional customer service. You will schedule work, oversee hiring/training, and manage operations to ensure quality and sales growth.

The role requires 4 years of auto service experience and 1 year in a supervisory capacity, with a valid driver's license for test drives. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license to test drive customer's vehicles.
• Willingness to continue education and remain current in automotive repair issues.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians according to store requirements.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
• Develop understanding of business operations in the automotive service environment to enhance efficiency.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
