Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an experienced service manager to oversee auto service staff, coach technicians, and ensure outstanding customer interactions. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and compliance while driving sales and service quality across the store.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards, managing inventory, and fostering long‑term customer relationships in a fast-paced automotive environment. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints; aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Capacity to lead and coach others; teammate and customer/communication skills.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver’s license to test drive customer’s vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns, fostering long‑term relationships.
• Develop understanding of business operations in the automotive service environment to enhance efficiency and store operations.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and thorough vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to front of shop to facilitate product and service sales.
