Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Service Manager to lead the auto service team in a Bridgestone store. You will assign duties, supervise technicians, manage customer interactions, and drive revenue through proactive service and sales.

You’ll recruit and coach staff, ensure quality and compliance, and maintain customer satisfaction while balancing operations and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints; aptitude to manage inventory and scheduling.
• Capacity to lead and coach others with strong communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians for store needs.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in auto repair.
• Must have valid automotive driver’s license to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication, issue resolution and follow-up.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, feedback and concerns.
• Develop understanding of store operations, paperwork, and financial transactions.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to the front of the shop to optimize revenue.
