Qualifications

• Minimum four years of auto service technical experience.
• One year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-complaint handling skills.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling and equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead and coach others.
• Excellent teammate and customer communication abilities.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians per store needs.
• Willingness to continue education in automotive repair.
• Valid automotive driver's license for test drives.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff based on skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers and maintain satisfaction.
• Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
• Maintain high teammate retention and quality standards.
• Manage paperwork, financial transactions and store procedures.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Facilitate communication between front and back shop to optimize revenue.
