Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a service manager/senior vehicle technician to lead an auto service team in a retail setting. You will manage customer relationships and coordinate between technicians and customers while supporting parts and equipment purchases.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and adherence to quality standards. Bridgestone emphasizes fair compensation, ongoing ASE training, and opportunities for growth in a large network of Tire and Auto Service centers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving – customer complaints; ability to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians; leadership and communication skills.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
