Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking an experienced Auto Service Manager to lead a skilled team in a high-volume retail automotive service environment. You will coordinate technician activities, supervise service delivery, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes coaching, hiring, and maintaining quality standards while driving efficient store operations and revenue through proactive customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and customer interaction.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians to meet store requirements.
• Valid automotive driver's license required for test drives.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Test drive vehicles when necessary and manage front/back shop coordination.
