Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Service Manager who combines automotive repair knowledge with strong people skills to lead technicians and manage customer relationships. You will supervise staff, assist with parts and equipment purchases, and drive store performance through excellent service.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, 4 years of auto service experience, and 1 year in a service management or service writer role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving and inventory/scheduling aptitude.
• Ability to recruit and coach technicians.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing automotive education.
• Valid driver's license for test drives.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee hiring and training of the auto service team.
• Maintain high teammate retention.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with paperwork, financial transactions and store operations.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to Front of Shop to boost revenue.
