Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Lawrenceville, GA seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. You will coach technicians and advisors, oversee scheduling, and ensure safety and quality while guiding a team to deliver fast, friendly, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the location in the store manager's absence, supervising daily operations.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting company values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services per guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly, escalating when needed.
• Support efforts to build repeat business through excellent service and customer care.
• Assist in managing daily store operations, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Maintain clean, organized shop and customer areas; ensure safety protocols.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to stay aligned with goals.
