Job summary

Southern Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to be the main communication link for service and repair activities. You will listen to customer concerns, relay information from technicians, and guide the customer through needed repairs and maintenance.

This in-person role emphasizes professionalism and superb customer service. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, automotive training or experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service for customers in person or by phone to ensure prompt diagnosis.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting expectations.
• Ensures documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Attends staff meetings, training, and classes to educate/train new staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
