Job summary

Southern Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to coordinate service for customers, liaise with technicians, and ensure timely, accurate repair communications. You will manage expectations and documentation while delivering world-class customer service in a fast-paced team setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, automotive training or experience, ASE certification a plus, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service for customers in person or by phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis.
• Make repair recommendations and manage delivery of repairs by setting customer expectations.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and training to educate new staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
