Job summary

Fleet Farm in Fargo, ND seeks an Auto Service Advisor who helps customers determine vehicle needs, verifies warranty coverage, creates repair orders, and develops estimates to ensure a high quality service experience.

You will schedule appointments, learn Fleet Farm’s tire, parts and accessories line, promote products, and handle customer questions while delivering outstanding service. A flexible schedule and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused work experience preferred or required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• 16 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Experience in auto service or mechanical setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously; announce service specials.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Develop knowledge of Fleet Farm tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
• Occasionally perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes.
• Assist customers with questions and issues; provide superior service.
• Assist in event and promotion preparations.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and initiatives.
• Ensure services are completed with high quality and meet customer needs.
