Job summary

Fleet Farm in Baxter, MN is seeking an Auto Service Advisor to assist customers with vehicle needs, verify warranty coverage, prepare estimates and repair orders, and maintain exceptional service levels.

The role involves answering phones, scheduling service, learning our tire/parts catalog, and promoting automotive products. Flexibility for shifts and a valid driver’s license are required, with prior customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.
• Previous experience in an auto service/mechanical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously, and announce service specials.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Establish knowledge of Fleet Farm’s tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services that meet customer needs.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor, and calculating payments.
• Assist customers with questions and ensure superior customer service.
• Assist in event and promotions preparations.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit options.
• Ensure all services are completed with high quality.
