Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Auto Service Advisor who puts customers first and works with a can-do attitude. You will determine vehicle needs, verify warranties, develop estimates, create repair orders, and ensure a high level of service experience.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, promote automotive products, and help customers with questions while maintaining Fleet Farm's standards and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 16 years of age with a valid drivers license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.
• Previous experience in an auto service/mechanical setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously; promote service specials.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Establish knowledge of Fleet Farm's tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services that meet customer needs.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
• Occasionally perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluids, batteries).
• Assist customers with questions and handle issues; provide superior service.
• Assist in preparations for events and promotions.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and credit card initiatives.
• Ensure all services are completed with a high degree of quality.
