Job summary

AutoNation in the United States seeks a Service Advisor to bridge service technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations in plain language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

In this role you will schedule and prepare appointments, greet customers, estimate costs and times, and ensure clear communication with parts and service staff to drive a first-rate customer experience and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to explain complex vehicle information in simple terms.
• Comfort with using technology to access service records and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments for customers.
• Explain service recommendations and upsell opportunities clearly.
• Greet customers and manage vehicle needs based on walk-arounds and tests.
• Produce repair orders with estimates and times, maintaining transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
